Stephen Jackson? Psssstttt Please, I'm Sebastian Telfair!!
With all this talk about Stephen Jackson in the media, Boston Celtic guard Sebastian Telfair will probably be getting a thank you letter in the mail from Jackson for taking the heat off of him.
Telfair was wearing a $50,000 diamond chain outside of P. Diddy Shawn Combs' restaurant in New York City. The chain was stolen by members of the rapper Fabolous' crew.
One of Fabolous' pals can be seen grabbing the chain from Telfair's neck while another keeps watch, then they run into Combs' restaurant. Telfair followed the crooks inside and saw them laughing with members of Fabolous' crew.
Telfair, who grew up in Coney Island, pulled out his cell phone and made a call, the sources said.
Twenty-three minutes later, a security camera outside the restaurant captured the gunman who shot 28-year-old Fabolous in a nearby parking lot driving off in a gray car, the sources said. The rapper was not believed to be the gunman's target, the sources added.
The question here is did Telfair call the shooter on his cell phone? If he grew up in Coney Island, the crime was in Coney Island and he used a cell phone in the restaurant to make a call several minutes before the shooting, who do you think he was calling and it doesn't seem likely it was the police....hmm......
