Paris Hilton To Do MNF Opening?

As if the ESPN's Monday Night Football Crew wasn't enough of a disaster, it looks like they are looking for Paris Hilton to do the opening for this weeks game between the New England Patriots and the Minnesota Vikings. This all according to The Boston Herald.

“We are looking for celebrities who are instantly recognizable,” said Rick Paiva, ESPN’s VP of creative services. “I don’t think Paris has any particular connection with Minnesota or New England.”

Yeah she's recognizable all right, but for some reason when we think of someone opening up MNF, the last person that comes to mind is Paris Hilton. In fact, the only thing that we can even think of that has NFL and Paris Hilton in the same sentence is when she was seeing Bears LB Brian Urlacher.
