Roy Williams Thinks The Lions Can Finish 10-6

Williams: I feel we are a 9-0 clubWell, the Lions are now 1-6 but their best wide receiver, Roy Williams, feels they can run the table for the rest of the season. The only team the Lions have beat this season are the 2-5 Buffalo Bills and that was by the margin of a field goal.

"I'm going to say we can put this together," Williams said. "I feel we are a 9-0 ballclub."

"We can be 10-6 -- sure we can. Can we win nine in a row? I believe it."

"Teams respect us because they know what we can do offensively. If we can put nine wins together, we are going to be where we want. If everybody looks in their heart and puts it all together, we can get this thing rolling."

Does Williams really think they can do it? He feels they can blow out some teams while they go on their win streak:

"That's one thing I don't understand. People say most games in the NFL are decided by three to seven points. But they don't have to be close. Maybe I'm still trying to learn to be a pro, but this is still football and they (games) don't have to be close."

Someone should tell Williams that they still have New England, Minnesota, Chicago, and Atlanta on their schedule. It's not probably that they will win 9 in a row, but they could win 5, which would be a stretch, against, Green Bay, San Francisco, Arizona, Miami, and Dallas.
