WILL CURTIS MARTIN RETIRE?
The writing is on the wall, he has been placed on the "Physically Unable To Perform" list by the New York Jets. In 2005, he had a career low in rushing attempts (220) rushing yards (735) and yards per carry (3.3).
The 33 year-old former Pittsburgh Panther, recently re-negotiated his contract to take the veteran league minimum, down from around 2.5 million a year.
If Martin does decide to retire, he will be the 4th leading rusher in NFL history behind Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, and Barry Sanders with 14,101 yards. (photo/AP)
