WTF?? Jeff George!!!!

It appears that The Mullet is back. Jeff George has signed with the Oakland Raiders. WOW they must certainly be desperate if they are signing him. Who knows what his role will be on the Raiders who already have Aaron Brooks, Andrew Walter and Marques Tuiasosopo. I can't imagine them signing him for his leadership in the clubhouse, especially due to his past with the Falcons in the mid-90's and his outlandish behavior on the sidelines to then head coach June Jones, which led to his demise as a Falcon.

The AP reports "George hasn't played since 2001, when he was cut after two games with the Redskins. In his last two games with Washington, George had a quarterback rating of 34.6, completing 23 of 42 passes with three interceptions."

If most of us can remember back that far, Jeff George was the #1 overall draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts in 1990. Surely The Raider Nation will love this signing! Please explain to us why Al Davis is still the owner of this team???
