HAPPY B-DAY JULIO!!!
This past week Julio Franco turned 48 years old. We
must say that this is truly unreal....this man is a
freak! He's playing at the highest level of baseball
and he's forty freakin eight!! "Franco is the oldest
player in the major leagues since Minnie Minoso made a
two-game comeback with the Chicago White Sox in 1980
at age 57. He is batting .272 with one homer and 16
RBIs." We hope he plays until he's at least able to qualify for Social Security at age 62. (Photo/Kathy Willins - AP)
