Griffey out with broken toe
As if the Cincinnati Reds didn't have enough trouble on their hands with their recent meltdown in the past weeks.
Centerfielder, Ken Griffey, Jr. is out indefinitely with a dislocated toe. Griffey jammed his toe against the wall jumping for a Barry Bonds 2 run home run on Tuesday which he could not reach.
The Reds went 1-8 on their recent west coast road trip and Griffey was 0-12 on that trip. He has been healthier the past two season than when he was first traded to the Reds. This injury should all but seal the deal that the Reds will be golfing in October. Griffey claims they aren't out of it, we think they are.
