CHOKE!!!!

International Basketball favors teams that can pass and shoot the outside jump shot, especially three pointers. Well, the U.S. basketball team with all of their athletic ability realized that early this morning when they took an L from Greece 101-95.

One interesting thing about the Greece team this year.....they have a total of ZERO NBA players on their roster. This may be a sign of the glory days of basketball, when it was a team sport and not an individual or statisticly obsessed sport, as the NBA appears to be. This years' U.S. team did have more team oriented players that could play defense and pass the ball, it appears that just wasn't enough.

Will U.S. Basketball ever win a gold medal again in international play? Interesting thought to ponder on, well, you have another two years to think it over. (photo/si.com)
