Surviving a MAC Scare

Last night's Toledo at Iowa State game was a barnburner, and it so happened to be SportsRx's upset special game. Unfortunately it went the other way, but it did happen to be the best game of all of last nights action.....and it wasn't televised. This makes us 0-1 for the season for our upsets selections......oh so close!

It took Iowa State 3 overtimes to defeat Toledo 45-43. Clint Cochran, Toledo's QB went 39-49 for 367 yards. Iowa State for the past two season has been runner-up in the Big 12 North. This just goes to show you once again, when a Mid-American Conference school goes on the road to a hostile environment, it can certainly compete.
