Richt Should Stay at UGA

Should stay at UGA! University of Georgia coach Mark Richt addressed the media regarding allegations that he has an "out in his contract for Miami".

Thursday it was reported by the media that such a clause existed for specifically Miami. Current coach Larry Coker has been under fire after the 'Canes have gotten off to a 1-2 start.

"There is nothing in there," Richt said after Thursday's practice. "There is no clause.

"And even if I had no buyout, I am not leaving unless Georgia throws me out of town."

Our thoughts are Richt should stay at Georgia. They have nicer facilities, more of a loyal fan base that travels very well, and he's loved at UGA.

There are only two attractions to Miami for Richt, one is that it would be easier to win a national title there than at UGA. The SEC is the toughest league to get out of the regular season undefeated and to the national title game. Secondly, money talks and if it's offered it can persuade a lot of people.
