Seattle...... We Can't Hear You!

WOOOOO!!! The NFL will be monitoring the sound at Qwest Field this Sunday. This will allow the New York Giants to leave their earplugs at home this week. That's because last season the Giants were flagged 16 times at Qwest Stadium and looked completely rattled by the "12th man".

Apparently the NFL feels that their is some artificial noise going on at the stadium and that the amount of noise generated in that venue can't be all from Seahawk fans. The fact is the Seahawks are 24-4 at home since 2003.

Rumors of such shenanigans have been swirling since the building opened four years ago, although no one has found any proof.

Someone, however, suspects Seattle's "12th man" has help because the NFL notified both teams this week that it will be watching and listening closely. NFL rules state any noise "that is under club control must cease when the play clock is running and the visiting team is in possession of the ball." The league fined the Washington Redskins $20,000 for violating that rule in 2000

Cheering and making noise is part of the game. What are Seahawks fans supposed to stand there and give a "golf clap" everytime there's a great play or the Seahawks play defense? We say, MAKE SOME NOISE!
