What Will A-Rod's Future With The Yankees Be?

It's hard to believe that after the outcome of Game 1 of the ALDS, between the Yankees and Tigers, that the Bronx Bombers would be sitting home with confused looks on their faces. If you thought the New York Media and fans were on A-Rod before, the next few weeks and months should be very interesting.

Alex Rodriguez, who went 0-for-3 after being dropped to No. 8 in the batting order in yesterday's 8-3 elimination loss to the Tigers, should start thinking about waiving his no-trade clause, because it doesn’t appear things are working out in New York

It is also hard to look at the most expensive player in history hitting eighth in a potential elimination game as anything less than Rodriguez moving a few steps further down the lineup and a few steps closer to the door.

A-Rod has only four hits in his last 41 postseason at-bats with no RBIs over 12 games. He was 1-for-14 in this series, and in his postseason career he remains hitless in 16 at-bats with eight strikeouts in situations of two outs and runners in scoring position.
