Another Week In The NFL

Henry: Second Bengal this year suspendedThe Titans want back some of Albert Haynesworth's bonus money. And that might be just the start of the paybacks. Coach Jeff Fisher told a national radio show Thursday that Haynesworth — the defensive tackle suspended five games by the NFL for stomping on Dallas center Andre Gurode's face — may never be back in the building again.

Bengals receiver Chris Henry received a two-game suspension Friday from the NFL for violating its conduct and substance abuse policies, making him the second Cincinnati player suspended this season for misconduct.

Philly fans once booed Santa Claus ... so we can only guess how they'll treat T.O. in his return with the hated Cowboys. But Kevin Hench says you shouldn't expect T.O. (who's reportedly writing children's books) to play scared Sunday.

The Colts will not pay the rest of defensive tackle Corey Simon's salary while he is out with an undisclosed illness. The team said Thursday the illness was not football-related and that Simon, who has not played or practiced since the first week of training camp in early August, would miss the rest of the season.

The mayors of L.A. and Anaheim met with new NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Friday and both offered competing plans to lure a team back to southern California. L.A. city leaders want to build a new stadium within the walls of the historic Memorial Coliseum, featuring 200 luxury boxes and 15,000 club seats at a cost of $800 million.
