Top 25 Shakeup: Bulldogs Going Down In Flames

Georgia lost to Vanderbilt. On homecoming, no less. For the first time in 12 years and only the third in 26 games, the private little university that couldn't finally did. The Commodores, on a 32-yard field goal with 2 seconds to go, beat the team that had under Mark Richt been the beast of the SEC East 24-22 Saturday in front of 92,746 stunned fans.

Vanderbilt (3-4, 1-3) got it. Its first win over a ranked team since 1992 came in a fashion that should humble all those that thought this defense was all shock and awe. Lately, it's been whoops and chase.

All Georgia had to do was make one stop. It didn't. Vanderbilt went 65 yards and converted a fourth-and-5 to keep the game-winning scoring drive alive.

Other notes....Auburn coming off a loss to Arkansas defeats No. 2 Florida 37-17 and Iowa also was upset by Indiana 31-28, which could also jeopardize The Hawkeyes from being in the top 25.
