It appears Matt Millen can do no wrong in Detroit

Seriously what will it take for Matt Millen, president of the Detroit Lions to lose his job? The man has been a total failure during his tenure leading the Lions to the worst record in the NFL during his reign in Detroit. How pathetic are they? They are 24-72 since he took over in 2001.

"I'll never quit," Millen said in a story posted Tuesday by The Detroit News. "I can't do that. I don't even consider that.

"It's the way I'm made."

Maybe Millen will draft another first round wide receiver again this year, Lions fans should hope not.

What the Lions desperately need is an offensive line and a quarterback, after they gave up on Joey Harrington, shipping him to Miami, it's obvious that John Kitna is certainly not the answer. The reality is that there aren't enough picks in the draft to help the Lions out this year and they can little afford another bust after Harrington, Rogers and Mike Williams.

It makes one wonder, if he hasn't done the job well in six years, is one or two more years going to get any better?
