Quinn: Looked Rattled
WOW!

We see that two things were apparent this Saturday. Brady Quinn will not win The Heisman Trophy and the media and coaches were far too kind to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before this Saturday's game vs. Michigan, by ranking them #2 in the nation.

We posted at the beginning of this month that we felt that ND was a bit overrated after barely defeating Georgia Tech 14-10, and this only proves our point. Not only did Notre Dame get beat badly, but it was right in front of "Touchdown Jesus" on their home turf.

Quinn threw 3 interceptions on 24-48 for 234 yards and three touchdowns, as the Irish got absolutely hammered by Michigan 47-21. They looked so flat in this game that they played like the Notre Dame of Ty Willingham more than the Charlie Weis Era Irish. They also made Lloyd Carr and a Michigan team coming off of 5 losses in 2005, look like an NFL team. It was a very painful game to watch unless you are a wolverine fan. Mario Manningham, had only 4 catches for the Wolverines.....oh yeah but 3 of them were TD's and gained 137 yards on those four catches.

The new polls came out today and now Notre Dame has dropped to #12 in the AP Poll and #13 in the USA Today Poll, while UM is up to #6. The Irish schedule is very favorable, including play against all three military academies, they should win out until they travel to USC late in the season.
